You and your new spouse along with all your friends and family coming together to celebrate the happiest day of your life. This is certainly one area you won’t want to skimp on, and there are so many micro choices that go into this decision.
Location, guests, table settings, color palette, food, music, the list goes on and on… You will also need to consider your guests’ dietary requirements (i.e., gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.).
Pro Tip: You should have your guest list figured out before considering your reception location. Most couples invite less than 150 people, the average guest count for a wedding is 98. You should also expect 5%-10% last-minute cancellations.

The venue you choose will be the central pillar for your entire wedding. There are countless types… banquet halls, hotels, resorts, churches, wineries, and clubhouses are just a few of the many options. They all have one thing in common though: you will only get to use them for a few hours.
